![]() Most folks just agree they wouldn’t have made the same decisions. Zim Zam and the Kenosha Kid both made some poor judgement calls leading up to their shootings…but both used their firearms for self defense legitimately. It really goes to show the influencial power the media has over people's beliefs when even a 2A supporting community like Arf commonly thinks Zimzam is something other than a total victim of, first Trayvon, and second, the media, and third politics. Media essentially ended his free life.Īs far as I can tell from what I've seen of Zimmerman, you're 100% correct. That shit can really grind you down over time. ![]() After so much harassment by commies, I wouldn't blame Zimmerman if he did turn into a jaded, raging asshole. Commies were pissed off that he defended himself and was not convicted for a righteous shoot. I don't want to derail this thread but I also don't want to let a long running media smear campaign to destroy Zimmerman's life to just hang out there as fact. The media, of course, wanted nothing to do with the facts. It turned out that the complainant was a stalker who had harassed Zimmerman in the past (paper trail, well documented) and there was no way he could've seen Zimmerman with a pistol through the tinted windows (IIRC). For example, they said he brandished a pistol at someone when Zimmerman was driving. Up to that time, what the media was saying he did turned out to be false. I followed Zimmerman through online stories, etc up until a few years ago. Much of Zimmerman "turning into a raging asshole" was media lies. You can trust the word of a dude like that. On his off days, he was a guest speaker for Our Wisconsin Revolution and Our Revolution in public venues. He was doing three jobs at once- paramedic, ACLU legal observer and an unsanctioned SWAT counter-assaulter (probably why he let the re-upping of his CCW slip by). He told the cops his clip-on holster came off during the foot pursuit and he lost the gun. While illegally carrying concealed because he forgot to check the expiration date on his CCW. His inference of Kyle's actions that night wher his mind could draw no other conclusion. ![]() he made a judgement call a bit outside of the scope of paramedic-ing to shoot an "active shooter"- in order to save lives. Making a decision to shoot him in the head, with the intentional use of deception, after closing on him, because he heard Rittenhouse say he was "with the cops. He claimed he had a code of ethics aligned with the Hippocratic oath, to do no harm, yet there he was chasing down a guy, with the rest of a mob, with his pistol drawn having decided he was going to have to shoot him. Yeah, he made all kinds of outrageous claims. Gage, the individual who loses his bicep, testified in court under oath that kyle racked the gun. Sound occurs at this exact moment, while his hands are still on the handguard and grip. Cops recovered 22 rounds, consistent with a 30 round mag after 8 shots were fired. Sounds like someone hitting a chainlink fence. I even hear the clear and bolt going in as he yanks the charging handle.
